All-Stars
THE 5th ANNUAL PETE ROSS CLASSIC will be hosted by the Silverdale Sluggers, July 23-25, 2010.
We are looking forward to hosting your team at the 5th annual Pete Ross Classic Baseball Tournament on July 23-25, 2010 at Ross Field in Silverdale! We would like to insure an enjoyable experience for all coaches, players, and their families while at Ross Field. Here is some helpful information we need:
- Ross Field Clubhouse provides a great concession stand available to all tournament patrons! We will have an outdoor BBQ with burgers and hotdogs, breakfast items (pancakes, muffins, cinnamon rolls, coffee, cocoa, tea, etc) available from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., sno-cones, ice cream snacks, nachos, popcorn –and more! We also have a large variety of drinks and meal specials available!
- Parking is limited within the Ross Field grounds. However, RV’s, longer trucks or vehicles may use the overflow parking near the top of Pete Ross Way for their convenience. Please be thoughtful of other patrons when parking and when driving through Ross Field parking; please drive slowly, as there are many small children at the fields. No parking is allowed along the shoulder of Pete Ross Way within 100 of the Ross Field gate. Please regard all postings and directions.
- Ross Field has a small playground for younger children, located between Field 5 and Field 4. Please be aware that parents are responsible for their children. Play safely –and at your own risk! J
- The Ross Field Concession Stand has first aid supplies (i.e. ice bags, band-aids, etc). Any moderate to serious injuries should be reported to the Tournament Director.
- Dogs (or any other pets) are NOT allowed at Ross Field. Please keep your pets at home, where they will be more comfortable in the warm weather. Anyone with a dog will be asked to remove the animal from the grounds immediately.
- For those of you using a GPS system to find our fields….the name of our road has recently changed from Schold Road to Pete Ross Way. You may need to use the Schold Road address in your system –or just click on the link above.
- Smoking is NOT allowed at Ross Field or in the Ross Field parking areas.
For more information, you may email the All-Star Activity Director, Adam Kanouse.
